I have the pleasure of knowing Basil Tsaras for over 15 years. I made it a point to see him when I gave talks in Athens. He always supplied up to date information about economic and social conditions in his country.
Throughout all these years, Basil organized three one day events for me for about three thousand people in Athens in 1995, 2000 and 2008 and did so with the degree of professionalism and good cheer that exceeded my expectations.
